Ronaldinho Is Better On The Ball Than Kaka

Leonardo is convinced that Ronaldinho still has the quality to be a star and believes that the Milan ace is better at handling the ball than Kaka.

The two Brazilian players go head-to-head on Wednesday night as the Rossoneri visit Real Madrid in the Champions League, and the coach thinks his player can perform.

Kaka left Milan in the summer for €67 million and, despite the Brazilian’s inconsistent first term at the San Siro, Leonardo turned to Ronaldinho to become the creator for the team.

“I think they are very different players, but they both have great skills in attack. They played together with Brazil and at Milan,” Leonardo told a press conference.

“Ronaldinho may lack Kaka’s acceleration, but he handles the ball better. They are both extraordinary players.”

Four years after earning a standing ovation from sections of the Madrid crowd as a Barcelona player, Ronaldinho is back and Leonardo thinks that he retains his star status.

“There were a lot of people at Madrid airport to see him,” he stated.

“He is still a special and outstanding player. I don’t think people have lost interest in him.”
