Tony Romo and the Cowboys in need of an Identity makeover

Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys as I’ve been saying for years really needed Bill Parcells, a real tough coach who can impose he’s identity on the locker room.
Playing the dreadful Washington Redskins (I do admit this is probably the best rivalry left in the NFL) the Dallas offense never left the locker. Leading the way was Tony Romo who was absolutely awful. Sorry, but there’s no delicate way to describe his performance.
Those throws that didn’t sail over his receivers’ heads landed at their feet. Hopefully, we can blame Romo’s sore back for his inaccuracy. (He took a knee to the back in the first quarter)
For 3 quarters the only fight the Cowboys showed was the cornerback Terrence Newman vs Dave Campo (secondary coach) on the side lines which was fare enough as Terrence Newman was a part of the whole problem. This has become the identity for the Cowboys, with no Terrell Owens to take away the media attention, we now see what this team is really all about under Wade Phillips: No Pride, No Heart, No Identity, No Leaders, No Accountability and most of all, No plans on how to move this team forward.
This is one of the most talented team in the NFL and every week they make us wonder how true that really is. The 7-6 victory over the Redskins this Sunday is just another evidence of the above sentiment and unfortunately is not going to be the last as long as Jerry Jones refuses to hire a real coach.
