Manning wins a Thriller in Jacksonville

It was almost a perfect game for the ONE they call Peyton Manning, in the first half he went 12-12 and scored on every possession they had.
Manning finished 23 of 30, picking apart Jacksonville’s secondary early and often. Wayne caught five passes for 132 yards. Dallas Clark had seven receptions for 95 yards and two scores.
Though the Colts defense played poorly all game, once again they found a way to win the game. Manning threw for 308 yards and four touchdowns, including a 65-yarder to Reggie Wayne to go ahead for good, and the Colts beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-31 Thursday night to improve to 14-0 for the first time in franchise history.
Indianapolis extended its NFL-record winning streak in the regular season to 23 and became the third 14-0 team in league history, joining the 1972 Miami Dolphins and 2007 New England Patriots . New Orleans can join the list with a victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night.
I really expected the Colts to help me out and put away the Jaguars early so I didn’t need to fight next week when time comes to vote on who should be number one on the NFL Power Rankings – week 16 (A-List Edition). But, hopefully the Saints will not do any better on Saturday against the “Free Falling Dallas Cowboys”. What can I say! I really Like the way the Colts play.
The Colts do not seem to be playing their best going into the playoff this season. And we all know that, the hottest team at the end of the year some how ends up winning the Super Bowl. But, not to worries Colts fans, they still have Peyton Manning that should count for something.
This game ended up being a wild one, on a cool night in the beautiful City of Jacksonville, both team contributed 714 yards, 43 first downs, 10 lead changes, six punts, several big plays and just two turnovers.
I personally would have preferred more defenses but, this thriller would do.
Now, it’s the Saints turn to counter.
