Jerry Jones and the lack of leadership responsible for the Cowboys continuous demise

All season long I’ve been saying Jerry Jones was the reason for the Cowboys lack of results on field.

There seem to be something about Billionaire sports owners in Dallas and their inability to let their assets (Coaches, Players and front office managers) do their jobs without being micro managed.

Jerry Jones1 Jerry Jones and the lack of leadership responsible for the Cowboys continuous demiseMark Cuban (Dallas Mavericks) and of cause Jerry Jones are both guilty of this very gruesome crime.

To Mark Cubans defense, he’s more of a friend to he’s players and coaches; you can say he’s the 13th man on the team.

Jerry Jones on the other hand rules with an Iron fist, he lords over he’s Players, Coaches and Managers. He comes down to the sidelines to scream on coordinators and coaches – telling them what plays to call and which players to be insert into an going game.

This kind of behavior is what has kept the Dallas Cowboys so wind up and playing like a team with the weight of the world on their shoulders.

For some, that would be a very good thing, anything to motivate a team!

But this team lacks leadership both in the locker room and from a Coach who looks like he’s always constipated. (Maybe he is! Have you seen that stomach of he’s?)

This lack of leadership is the reason the Cowboys went to Minnesota and laid a massive egg.

The Cowboys have been playing with all the weight of the world on their shoulders and that helped with impressive wins over the Saints and a week 17 victory over the Eagles.

Then it all came crashing down after the Cowboys first playoff victory in 13 years over their divisional rival Eagles. Read How Bout Them Cowboys? Playoff Jinx over!

That victory gave King Jones the peace of mind he needed to relax and enjoy the fresh air in he’s $1.3 billion arena that consists of a high-def screen low enough to interfere with booted punts, he aimed to use the attention to sell out the arena. (That worked like a charm, a conversation for another day)

Without Jerry Jones’ barks and shadowing of the team all week during training, the lack of leadership made the squad completely complacent and the rest is history.

Romo is an outstanding quarter that deserves a real coach; Wade Phillips is not just the answer.

Wade Phillips is a very good defensive coordinator and he proved it again this year.

If Jerry Jones will not hire a real coach then I suggest he should start barking even louder.  They did defeat the Saints at home and pulled out some very impressive victories this season, who knows with Jerry Jones lording over them constantly they could pull it off February 2011 at Jerry world.
