John Terry’s affairs with the Chelsea’s whore (Vanessa Perroncel) a disaster for England’s World Cup Campaign

Once again another mega star is involved in a sex scandal and as can be expected is been blown completely out of proportion by the kings of Tabloid trash journalism; The Sun and with everything that has to do with The Sun, the truth has been skewed and other unnecessary element are been amplified to sell papers.

So what are the facts of this case?

More revelations have emerged of a four-month affair that married John Terry had been conducting with French lingerie model Vanessa Perroncel, who was once the girlfriend of former Chelsea player Wayne Bridge who is now at Manchester City and has a three-year-old son Jaydon with Peroncel.

The fact that Terry is married and is having an affair with a friends ex has not been the most firry point of contention in this scandal. Anti-abortionist has decided that the abortion in this story is enough to have Terry relieved of he’s duties.  During twice weekly clandestine meetings, Terry got Peroncel pregnant and then paid for her mutually consented abortion.

To recap, John Terry married and having affairs with a friends Ex (and Baby mama:-)), doesn’t sound like much of a scandal! You’d be right, but you got to really understand who John Terry is to know why this is such a scandal.

If one player epitomizes a club, its’ symbol, it’s soul, then John Terry is that player, and Chelsea is that club. He has tenacity for the game; intelligence and the will to win that have led to two Premiership titles. From which players to be fielded to who should be the clubs manager nothing gets done without Terry’s say so at Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho’s controversial departure from west London was believed to have stemmed from differences of opinion with his former captain, who reportedly aired his concerns to owner Roman Abramovich and at the end it was Mourinho who was sent off.

John Terry is not just the Chelsea Boss, he’s the Captain of England’s national team for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa making him one of the most recognizable if not the most recognizable celebrity in England outside of David Beckham.

To make this situation a tad more complicated, Wayne Bridge is rumored to be angry at this whole story. Then it gets worse as the two players are likely to be included in England’s World Cup squad, but Terry’s affair has led to growing calls for him to be stripped of the England captaincy.

That decision I strongly believe should be left to the members of the squad and I do not see how this affair can be a distraction given that Bridge and Peroncel are history and most importantly Peroncel is just one of Chelsea’s girl friends (or a groupie with full access) and this was probably why Terry wanted the abortion and is really not he’s fault that Mr. Bridge didn’t mind having a child with the club’s whore.

Football (Soccer as is called in the States) is the most popular sport in the world and for some – simply a religion. Like every other religion today it’s got its own share of groupies and guys like Terry are the high priests and gals like Vanessa Peroncel live to service their every need. (Isn’t that sweet?)

That doesn’t mean what happened here is right, just like I said in my article about Tiger Wood Sex Scandal – Tiger Woods has nothing to apologies for, these are individuals like me and you who make premeditated mistakes, the only difference their lives are under a spot light and the smallest mistake is over blown.

Terry who is no stranger to controversies and allegations like allegations of his mother shoplifting and his dad’s drug dealing, Terry was alleged to have taken payment to secure behind the door tours of Chelsea’ Cobham training ground. The Chelsea captain strongly rejected those allegations and given he’s status in the football landscape they were swept under the carpet. But with Peroncel now due to auction her story to the highest bidder, this one will not be going away anytime soon.

This time Terry ran into a groupie with a retirement plan. Just like the Tiger Woods saga Ms. Vanessa Peroncell knows she can’t be a groupie forever and after having affairs with everyone on the Chelsea team including the parking attendant, She has decided is time to call it a quit and cash in on years of hard work. (Literally)

This was not the news that Fabio Capello had wanted to hear. The England coach who masterminded a spectacular 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign laid down his strict regime right from the start.

Players were expected to be punctual, respectful, dine together and face severe cut backs on mobile phone usage, with a total ban at the dining table.

Late nights out drinking and falling out of nightclubs in the early hours were a definite no no too, if you wanted to be in Capello’s England. The players responded to his regime and Capello got his wishes with an almost faultless World Cup qualifying campaign.

Now Capello has to decide if he wants to keep Terry as team captain and we wait and see.
