Top 10 inhabitants beware. Four of the preseason top 10 have already suffered losses and we are only two weeks into this new young season. True, true – two of them lost to fellow top 10 elites, but one of them (cough, Oklahoma State, cough) decided to get stomped out by an unranked team. As conference play begins in the Big 12, COED plans to get you amped up to start pre-gaming with beer pong, sorority raids, 3-story beer bongs, and hours and hours of cheerleader stretching prior to kickoff of Week 3 in college football (all TV times CST).

No. 1 Florida (2-0) vs. Tennessee (1-1)
2:30 p.m. CBS (HD) / Online
This is Lane Kiffin’s dream that most likely will end as a nightmare. While Kiffin continues to badger Urban Meyer in the media, it will likely be Meyer who is doing all the laughing when he points up to the scoreboard with a 50-point lead.

No. 2 Texas (2-0) vs. Texas Tech (2-0)
7:00 p.m. ABC (HD)
The ultimate rematch for McCoy and Co. as they look to avenge last season’s last second defeat at the hands of the since-departed, yet still stupidly and selfishly unsigned, Michael “Greed” Crabtree’s touchdown reception. The Longhorns lost their perfect season and national title hopes at the hands of the Red Raiders last season, so look for them to put them under water this weekend.

2:30 p.m. ABC (HD) / ESPN-GP
The Trojans are flying high after a great comeback win over the oft-overrated Buckeyes in Columbus. Golden Boy Matt Barkley was key to the big win, but will likely yield the QB1 spot to Aaron Corp this week in Washington as USC faces its former offensive coordinator and Steve Sarkisian’s Huskies.

No. 5 (tie) Ole Miss (1-0) vs.Southern Louisiana (2-0)
6:30 p.m. ESPN-GP / CSS / CST / BHSN
Despite a sub-optimal performance from Jevan Snead, the Rebels cruised to a 45-15 win in Memphis way back in Week One and now look to head home for their only home game in September. Fans will be riotous in Oxford as the team looks to continue its ascent to the top of the rankings against a sneaky Southern Louisiana team that has shattered its opponents by a combined score of 110-27 (Yes, I realize they destroyed Texas A&M – Commerce and Union College).

No. 5 (tie) Penn State (2-0) vs. Temple (0-1)
11:00 a.m. BTN (HD)
Talk about a weak schedule. Penn State is about as likely to become 3-0 as Lane Kiffin is to shed a tear or 12 in private after the violent beating he is about to experience in Gainesville. Penn State hasn’t lost to Temple in 68 years and has outscored them 123-3 in the past three meetings.

The Cougers continue their Mormon quest to the top of the BCS standings with yet another dangerous foe in Florida State. FSU is still reeling after a close loss to Miami in Week One, and has BYU’s number as they have defeated them both times they’ve faced them in team history. Look for the Cougar wives, girlfriends, and cheerleaders to be packed into LaVell Edwards Stadium this Saturday night – all 5,000 of them.

The Golden Bowl kicks off this Saturday night in the brand new TCF Bank Stadium on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The Golden Bears take to the road for the first time this season and will do battle with the Golden Gophers. As you’d expect in the wild when these two animals square off, expect the Bears to enter the back yard of the Gophers and rip them to shreds unmercifully.

No. 10 Boise State (2-0) at Fresno State (1-1)
8:00 p.m. ESPN (HD)
After the opening season incident involving Oregon’s ‘angry’ tailback, the Broncos have fought their way back into the top 10. This week they face a Fresno team still wondering how they blew a chance for a big road win last week in Wisconsin. The Broncos defense has been stingy this season and looks to be the same this week as they should cruise to a win over the Bulldogs for the eighth time in the past nine meetings.
