Manning on the verge of another NFL Record Season
Sure, Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos might be 4-3 at this point of the season and though that record might not be that impressive, ok, so that record is far from impressive, but the Broncos record does not tell the whole story. The three games they lost were to the Falcons, Patriots and Texans three teams that might just end up with the best records in the NFL when it’s all said and done. And again these games where on the road and yet Peyton Manning was able to bring the Broncos back from big deficits each time in the fourth quarter and were a play or two away from pulling off spectacular victories.
Let’s all be be mindful that Peyton Manning and his offense are still tweaking the kinks in the armor working on timing with his new receiving core and running backs, yet so far they are already impressive and they seemed to be just as good as he ever was – and Manning? Damn, there seemed to be no depreciation in skills, he is as good as ever.
Is Mr Peyton Manning really on the verge of greatness?
Peyton Manning leads the league with a 108.9 passer rating and has completed over 68 percent of his passes for 2,113 yards and 17 touchdowns to just 4 INT. Against the the very surprisingly New Orleans Saints this weekend he was again unbelievably comfortable with his receivers — particularly Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker and Jacob Tamme, but what has made Manning offense in Denver so formidable is the ground game behind Willis McGahee and Ronnie Hillman.
Though the Broncos defense has giving up a lot of points in the first half of every game this season, they have also held teams to the fewest points in the fourth quarter all season long. The Broncos were ranked 10th in total defense and passing defense entering the game against the Saints and after that ferocious performance on Sunday night they showed everyone why they are ranked so high.
With the above combination -Peyton Manning has passed for over 300 yards in five consecutive games and had nearly perfect 138.9 passer rating Sunday night.
The scary thing here is; Manning and the Broncos are yet to jell, if this team finds that chemistry on offense this season and if the defense continue to hold down teams in the fourth quarter, what will this team look like in January?

With the Broncos schedule getting increasingly weaker here on, they might not lose another game all season long, and if that happens, there is no question Peyton Manning would be the unanimous league MVP.
